UP FOR AUCTION UP for Auction- all original VINTAGE OMEGA SEAMASTER AUTOMATIC blue-dial CHRONOGRAPH WATCH CAL. 1040 CONDITION: EXCELLENT This vintage OMEGA SEAMASTER AUTOMATIC WINDING CHRONOGRAPH. The caliber 1040 automatic winding movement was amongst the most complicated ever produced by OMEGA...this one, This is an uncommon OMEGA complication that will certainly appreciate "over time". This is a very desirable and hard to find OMEGA Chronograph in the best possible condition! Kept organized in a vault tissue wrapped. Reluctant to sell but funds will be needed for our little boy getting into the big school. We are an ebay seller but only now have decided to let go of a few things we own of value. I am also listing an IWC Da Vinci ladies watch same time this is launched plus those me and my wife normally sells on ebay as our products- hats/shirts/clocks for some years now. 100% Original Condition : never machine buffed Case: Original Omega Stainless Steel Case in excellent, unbuffed condition. All lines are straight and edges are sharp. Some normal light scratches from wear. Sunburst finish is intact (untouched). Never machine polished nor retouched. Back of case has a light engraving of a number on the lug area .. This however can be buffed easy. Case Size: 40MM ( Including Crown) , 41 mm (lug to lug), 15 mm thickness Bezel: Original Omega Internal Tachymeter bezel, excellent condition, no fading. Crown/Pusher: Original Omega Push-in crown in perfect condition Caseback: Original Omega Seamaster screw-in type caseback , Seamaster logo 100% visible. Light scratches, never buffed. Dial/Hands: Blue Dial , silver applied markers and orange sword hands. Dial is marked OMEGA AUTOMATIC SEAMASTER . Both dial and hands are in excellent condition. Slight discoloration (white to off-white) in the bottom -center register- nice vintage look Crystal:: Original Omega Hesalite crystal in excellent condition, OMEGA symbol in center evident. MOVEMENT: original Movement 1040. Keeps excellent time and all chronograph function correctly and reset to zero. Cooper-colored, 22 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring.
